The gun pictured is a Savage era AE Grade Vent Rib Skeet in 16 Gauge, 26” barrels, single trigger, 14” LOP, beavertail, Jostem pad, factory vent rib, 1937 mfg. Serial Number 303705. Near mint original condition.

This FOX grade is a gun that the discriminating sportsman will appreciate as to price and workmanship. It is not a cheap gun, but a more than good gun at a reasonable figure, and can be built to your own specifications without extra charge. The material and fittings are of superior FOX class.
THE BARRELS are genuine Chromox Fluid Steel. They have been FOX-PROOFED as absolutely safe and unusually strong, hard shooters and fully guaranteed. THE STOCK is made of select dark Walnut of good grain and figure, and tastefully checkered.
THE ENGRAVING-of an entirely new design, is far superior to any that has heretofore been found on guns of this grade and adds very considerably to the handsome appearance of the gun. You can search through the world's gun market and not find a better, truer shotgun at the price than the "A" Grade FOX. Like all FOX Guns, it carries the strong, broad FOX Guarantee and FOX-PROOF Certificate.
We stock the regular "A" Grade FOX in half or full pistol grip, but will be made to order at no extra charge with straight grip.
